How Pipedrive Backup works

What happens after activation

Every day, Pipedrive Backup connects through the official Pipedrive API with the read-only access you authorized, and takes a complete snapshot of the company account you selected: deals with all custom fields, contacts and organizations, activities and notes, files and attachments, pipelines, stages and products — with the relationships between them intact.

Each snapshot is dated and kept according to your plan's history: 30 days on Solo, 90 days on Team, a full year on Business. You can download any snapshot, any time, as a structured archive that's readable outside Pipedrive.

When you need data back

Two paths, both included. For most situations, you open the snapshot from before the loss and download exactly what you need — a deal with its notes, a contact list, a set of files. For critical losses where data must go back inside Pipedrive, every plan includes recovery assistance: our support walks you through restoring the records correctly, field by field.

What we never do

• We never ask for your Pipedrive password — access is OAuth only, revocable by you at any time.
• We never write to your account — the connection is read-only.
• We never use your data for anything except providing the backup — no analysis, no sharing, no selling.
